"SUV (Ammo)," 6" x 8", portrait of a Mastiff, from the "Sunday Driver's" series of paintings depicting dogs and cars. This painting was done in Golden acrylics on a Raymar panel and is available for purchase for $379. Inquiries may come to me. I've been busy working on top secret commissions, but figured today I'd share one of my all time favorite paintings. This one was completed in April of 2010. Why is "SUV Ammo" a favorite of mine? I love the dog's relaxed expression, and the flip of his tongue. I love the lines that the window edges make. I love the reflections in the rear window. And I love that I can remember painting Ammo, dancing in front of my easel and having just as much fun as the dog did when he got to go for a ride. Thanks, as always, for looking at and sharing my artwork with your friends and family - Kim |
Dear Copyright Thieves, Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's free for the taking. So let's just stop pretending the internet is a free-for-all. Don't play the card that you didn't know - that's insulting. And don't also tell me that you meant to follow up and get permission but never got a chance to. That's insulting too. And by the way, don't you have a copyright protection notice on your own site? And don't even try and point the finger at a third party who commissioned you to make a copy of my painting - again, an insult - you and I both know the difference between a reference photo and a painting. And don't tell me that I asked for it because I share my artwork on the internet. I share my paintings and ideas and the stories behind them so as to encourage others to pursue their own passions . I do not share so that those lacking integrity and morals can copy and market the images as their own...
Tout comme les enfants, "j'ai bien le droit de profiter de la vue moi!!!"... Il est heureux celui-là il imagine déjà l'arrivée... de grande prairies où il va pouvoir s'ébattre...
