Paintings With Soul

In process, this is a rework of an older painting titled "Comfort and Peace." It will get a spiffy, new title, since the painting's story has evolved. I've just not figured that part out yet. The ending to the story, nor how to get there. Such is the joy (or pain, depending upon one's point of view) in working intuitively. I never know where I will end up, but I do know that it's always an adventure, and there often is language as colorful as my brushwork. This is acrylic on panel, 24" x 30", and will be $999 plus s&h to the first one asking nicely. And of course you may ask prior to the piece's completion - I'm happy to offer first dibs. I needed a breath of spring in the studio today, so I spoiled myself with some bright green grass. And indulged in another favorite of mine - black and white. Which as you know isn't really black or white. But that green? It is most definately green. Horses courtesy of Mt Christie Gypsy Horses , which I visited two springs ago with a friend, just days after this little one hit the ground.  Is it possible to have spring fever in early February?
