"Tulip Bowl," 24" x 30" acrylics on panel, featuring violet tulips in a goldfish bowl. Another piece created for licensing consideration, this one is available to the  first asking nicely  for $899, with one contingency. IF Tulip Bowl makes the licensing cut, I'll ship the artwork to my agency for a high resolution scan, after which the painting can be shipped to a new home. I have so much more than merely fond memories of them, because I am living a life that they actively nurtured and set me upon. You see, her Mom introduced me to the fine art of throwing a tea party. To taking pride in your work (this woman embroidered enough fabric to reupholster her entire house - and did!). To fairies (she sprinkled me with fairy dust the day of my high school graduation).     "A Kiss for Oklahoma," 6" x 6", still life painting of a Hershey Kiss, done in acrylics on museum quality panel, currently  at auction . 100% of the proceeds from this painting will be donated to the  Red Cross  for their rescue and support efforts during the aftermath of severe weather in Oklahoma.   It took me a while to figure out how to support the victims of the Oklahoma tornados. I tossed around the idea of a gift certificate or a doll painting. And then in a quiet moment in the candy aisle of the grocery it suddenly came to me.   A kiss.   I'm trying out the Daily Paintworks site this time around.     Another cozy image for a winter month - guess I have napping on my mind!   Sorry for the delay in sharing the March calendar - I jetted off to Florida and neglected to add the file to my website, something I can only do from home.   I had sunshine on the brain!!!   To implement this month's desktop calendar, simply download the file  directly from my website . I've set up a couple different ways to do this, either via the photo album or a direct link.   I am by no means an expert on the variety of operating systems, so I highly recommend that if you don't know how to change your desktop wallpaper, don't email me for advice.
