Paintings With Soul

Since October 2006 I've been a daily painter, creating a new pet portrait at least 5 times per week. Over the years I've expanded my offerings to include a variety of animals, pets, race horses, children and other treasured heirlooms. In addition, I accept a limited number of commissions each year.

In 2015 I am honored to be the Kentucky Derby Artist.

You may use the links below right to receive my daily paintings via email or to follow my blog with a feed. I post additional info, including in-process jpgs and other related information, on the studio Facebook page as well.

Meanwhile, thanks
so much for your continued support of my artwork.

"That Sheltie Glow," a portrait of Shetland Sheepdog Skye

"That Sheltie Glow," 4" x 8", Shetland Sheepdog pet portrait in acrylic on canvasboard, $165 to the first buyer. Inquiries may come to ksantini@turtledovedesigns.com .

SOLD.

Remember a few weeks back, when I asked for photos of specific breeds? I was looking for Shetland Sheepdogs, among a few other breeds. Another artist and sheltie afficianado sent me photos of her gorgeous boy Skye, and the above painting was born. Thank you, Heather!

I love the color in this piece, which will be incorporated into a collage I'm building of multiple dog breeds (stay tuned!). But the original painting will go to the first taker, and it's a gem.

Here's a shout out for pictures of French Bulldogs and Pugs. Photos must be taken without a flash in order for me to paint from them. Submitting photos means I could create artwork from them, so please keep this in mind and send only photos you have personally taken (and yes, you will get first dibs on any resulting paintings). Digital photos may come to ksantini@turtledovedesigns.com; I'll acknowledge receipt of all materials.

Thanks, as always, for looking.
And for sharing these paintings with your friends and family.
Kim
