I took last week off, solely intending to rejuice, but there were other plans in the works.
You see, my Grandfather passed away on Thursday. What I wouldn't give for another bear hug. This man invented them.
He went the way everyone deserves to go, peacefully and surrounded by family. Which doesn't make it that much easier for those left behind, but in the whole scheme of things, this was the moment when he deserved the most consideration, so I'm not about to begrudge anything.
