Paintings With Soul

Since October 2006 I've been a daily painter, creating a new pet portrait at least 5 times per week. Over the years I've expanded my offerings to include a variety of animals, pets, race horses, children and other treasured heirlooms. In addition, I accept a limited number of commissions each year.

In 2015 I am honored to be the Kentucky Derby Artist.

You may use the links below right to receive my daily paintings via email or to follow my blog with a feed. I post additional info, including in-process jpgs and other related information, on the studio Facebook page as well.

Meanwhile, thanks
so much for your continued support of my artwork.

Bunny Kisses

"Bunny Kisses," 9" x 12", acrylic on gallery stretched linen. This is what the Easter Bunny brought me last year - and no, she's not still around. The kids polished her off about 5 minutes after I told them I had finally finished the painting. You should have seen them eyeballing the still life setup like savages!!

This painting will make for a great springtime decoration in your home. As my Easter gift to the most loyal Dog-a-Day readers who are checking emails and blogs on a holiday, I'll ship her off to the first one who wants her for a one time price of $199. This is a large painting, on linen, gallery wrapped so there is no need to frame her (the colors go around the sides of the canvas to the back).

I think I've had my share of too much candy today!! Meanwhile, a round of chocolate rabbits for all!!

Inquiries about "Bunny Kisses" may come to me. I'd also love the opportunity to talk to you about any still life ideas you may have - I would welcome the chance to create a special still life painting from objects in your life.

I wish you a blessed day spent with those you love.
Back to the dogs tomorrow,
Kim
