"Atticus & Brutus," 6" x 12", Golden Open acrylics on canvasboard, commissioned pet portraits, private collection (THANK YOU!). Inquiries (including booking your own pet portrait, from miniature size [4" x 4"] to larger than life) may always come to me.
My client contacted me several years back about painting Lily (who's on the easel tonite, just not yet completed). When we got to talking about her Lily portrait, she shared some pics of these two "brutes" and asked if I couldn't also paint them. Sounded like a great deal to me.
Thanks, as always, for looking at - and sharing - my artwork and musings with your friends and family.

very nice i like the unusual layout of this one, it really gives the cats a gangster personality.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Samantha! the inspiration photo had these two snuggling and leaning into each other with their eyes closed - my client wanted me to keep that cozy element and add the awareness of their opened eyes. I'm really happy with the result, as are they!
