I cannot send huge enough thanks to Brenda and Chris Lynch for the most fab weekend ever (the unveiling of the "Rusty" Muttitage wine bearing my label design at their Dog Days event). But what I can do is recommend you buy their wine, in copious quantities. They are amazing people, their wine is fabulous, and with your purchase you'll be supporting a company that does everything it can to foster and support animal welfare. Doesn't get much better than that. So check their goods out here and tell them I sent you. Please and thank you.
And if you want to see pics from the weekend, they are on the studio Facebook page. There are a couple of albums (not all mine), so be sure to scroll through the entries and find the corresponding links.
This little guy was a participant in Saturday's wine tasting. Approximately 300 people came to the winery, dogs in tow, to sample the wine and socialize. A big warm Dog a Day welcome goes out to the new readers - so glad that we connected, and am looking forward to sharing all sorts of paintings with you in the coming months.
Tomorrow, it's dental appointments for us all (not my most favorite thing, as I have a dental phobia), then back home to package and ship out the 40 paintings for my solo show. In two weeks (gulp) at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
Hoping to get some easel time. Provided there are no cavities.
Thanks, as always, for looking at - and sharing - my artwork and musings with your friends and family. And for loving those Mutt Lynch wines.

I love it, Kim! Looks like he/she is having a conversation with his/her shadow! Great translation from the photo. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery fun painting! Congrats on your solo show =) Hope the dentist visit was fine.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda. This little guy was a spark, that's for sure!!
ReplyDeleteKathleen, all went well. Except that my hygenist read my blog and thought she had created my dental phobia. Once I got things smoothed over with her, all was peachy!! :) thanks!
