March Desktop Calendar


 

 

 

Have you been enjoying the monthly desktop calendars built from my favorite Painting a Dog a Day pieces? I hope so!!

 
To implement, simply download the calendar file directly from my website. I've set up a couple different ways to do this, either via the photo album or a direct link.

 
I am by no means an expert on the variety of operating systems, so I highly recommend that if you don't know how to change your desktop wallpaper, don't email me for advice. Instead consult your computer's help files - they will be more concise, more knowledgeable and more responsive than I could ever hope to be. 

 
March is sized to fit a standard screen height of 768 - I realize there are lots of variables that could impact how this file displays on your screen. Let me know if, once you get the file installed, there are display quality issues (keep in mind, too, that options such as "stretching to fit," "tiling" and "cropping" will impact your display, so check those first!).

    Is this a painting of a Vizsla? Just curious since my brother on the East coast has two he adores and if it is, then I'd like to forward your link to him...for your painting and for the calendars.

    Hey Christine - thanks for asking! Yes, this is a vizsla! I've painted them many times - they are fabulous looking dogs! I would love to hear from your brother and get to "meet" his!! Thanks for forwarding my link to him! All my best, Kim

The cover of "A Dog Named Blue," now available from Blurb publishers. When I first painted Amelia I never imagined that she would be re-christened "Blue" and inspire a book. Dear Copyright Thieves

Dear Copyright Thieves,   Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's free for the taking. So let's just stop pretending the internet is a free-for-all.   Don't play the card that you didn't know - that's insulting. And don't also tell me that you meant to follow up and get permission but never got a chance to. That's insulting too. And by the way, don't you have a copyright protection notice on your own site?   And don't even try and point the finger at a third party who commissioned you to make a copy of my painting - again, an insult - you and I both know the difference between a reference photo and a painting.   And don't tell me that I asked for it because I share my artwork on the internet. I share my paintings and ideas and the stories behind them so as to encourage others to pursue  their own passions . I do not share so that those lacking integrity and morals can copy and market the images as their own...

Tabby Kit
