I’ve had a good run at the easel lately. I’m enjoying painting the equine form quite a bit - there’s two more in the works still……

I was reading about the Moon and Pleiades’ (also known as the Seven Sisters) lunar occultation happening this evening. The shadow of the moon will fall over some of the stars in this constellation, temporarily blacking them out. I thought it was so cool! Then later I realized that this little painting, which had previously been just the horse and clouds, was the perfect candidate for a garland of stars.
