Paintings With Soul

Since October 2006 I've been a daily painter, creating a new pet portrait at least 5 times per week. Over the years I've expanded my offerings to include a variety of animals, pets, race horses, children and other treasured heirlooms. In addition, I accept a limited number of commissions each year.

In 2015 I am honored to be the Kentucky Derby Artist.

You may use the links below right to receive my daily paintings via email or to follow my blog with a feed. I post additional info, including in-process jpgs and other related information, on the studio Facebook page as well.

Meanwhile, thanks
so much for your continued support of my artwork.

Golden Retriever Study

"Golden Retriever Study," 4" x 5", acrylic on canvasboard, mounted in a custom gold carved frame, $249. I could also take this painting out of the frame and sell it naked for $184. Inquiries may come to me.

This is an older painting, from before the Dog-a-Days started. I kept him for myself to enjoy for a bit (I was - and continue to be - partial to all the colors of the rainbow in this face), then splurged on a great frame and shared him through various exhibitions and events. I'm ready to let him go now, but only to a good home. Is it yours?
The artwork created at the Belmont pARTy was published online early this morning - you can view the pieces at the Virtual pARTy blog. There's also information on how you can participate the next time around.
Thanks as always for sharing my paintings with your friends and family,
See you tomorrow,
