Paintings With Soul

Since October 2006 I've been a daily painter, creating a new pet portrait at least 5 times per week. Over the years I've expanded my offerings to include a variety of animals, pets, race horses, children and other treasured heirlooms. In addition, I accept a limited number of commissions each year.

In 2015 I am honored to be the Kentucky Derby Artist.

You may use the links below right to receive my daily paintings via email or to follow my blog with a feed. I post additional info, including in-process jpgs and other related information, on the studio Facebook page as well.

Meanwhile, thanks
so much for your continued support of my artwork.

Minion, Toy #32

"Minion," Toy #32, 6" x 6," acrylics on masonite, depicting a little guy borrowed from Gru's army. And this little guy has a new home, too - thank you very much to my returning collector!
Is it wrong that I just want to sit on my couch and eat donuts?

I'm probably still rebounding from my workshop last week and a killer UTI, but seriously, that's all I want to do.

I tried my typical creative boosts today - a long bath, a walk, a drive, a latte, some chocolate, procrastination, photo reviews, looking at art, reading about art, pinterest, loud music, drawing - but nothing worked.

Let's hope I've got an attitude adjustment by tomorrow!!

Thanks, as always, for following along with my artwork,
All my best, Kim
