Paintings With Soul

Since October 2006 I've been a daily painter, creating a new pet portrait at least 5 times per week. Over the years I've expanded my offerings to include a variety of animals, pets, race horses, children and other treasured heirlooms. In addition, I accept a limited number of commissions each year.

In 2015 I am honored to be the Kentucky Derby Artist.

You may use the links below right to receive my daily paintings via email or to follow my blog with a feed. I post additional info, including in-process jpgs and other related information, on the studio Facebook page as well.

Meanwhile, thanks
so much for your continued support of my artwork.

Colby, Painted Sketch

"Colby", a small painted sketch, done in acrylics on paper, private collection (THANK YOU!). Inquiries may come directly to me

I did a handful of new sketches today, of which Colby is a shining example. Don't you love his goofy face? he's so chill, just hanging out, soaking up the sun.

I also did another reverse painting on plexi, and got it scanned and onto FineArtAmerica. I don't think that there's enough unicorn art in the world, do you?

Now I'm off to freeze my butt, err, cheer my butt off, at The Caped Crusader's lacrosse game. I'll be the one in the stands zipped into a heavy duty sleeping bag. And I'm packing a cowbell. Yeah, I'm that mom.

Thanks, as always, for following along with my artwork!
Warmly, Kim
