Paintings With Soul

  Wow! It's June, which means school's out (or nearly so), and is a ready excuse for daily popsicles and brightly colored toes in flip-flops. Enjoy it!!   To implement this month's desktop calendar, simply download the file  directly from my website . I've set up a couple different ways to do this, either via the photo album or a direct link.   I am by no means an expert on the variety of operating systems, so I highly recommend that if you don't know how to change your desktop wallpaper, don't email me for advice. Instead consult your computer's help files - they will be more concise, more knowledgeable and more responsive than I could ever hope to be.    I've sized this to fit a standard screen height of 768 - I realize there are lots of variables that could impact how the file displays on your screen. "Pangi," 6" x 12", commissioned Chinese Crested Chihuahua portrait, acrylic on board, private collection (THANK YOU!). If you are lucky in life, you will have walked a portion of it with a soul mate. Some are lucky enough to be able to travel through with several. Pangi was just such a little guy for his mother. Vibrant, affectionate, and tenacious, he is missed. "Chinese Crested Study (Harlan), 6" square, chinese crested hairless dog portrait in acrylic on canvasboard. Proceeds from the sale of this painting will go to the Peke-a-Tzu Rescue. Or this little guy's sweet temperment. Harlan is an 11 year old Chinese Crested, always happy, dancing, tail wagging, and a HUGE cuddler. The Peke-a-Tzu Rescue focuses on toy and small breeds. They are based in Michigan, with foster homes also in Indiana, Ohio and Florida. They specialize in senior dogs as well as those with physical or mental challenges. They rescue dogs from shelters, animal control facilities, and private owners.
