Weeping Roses

Weeping Roses view her on my website Weeping Roses, original acrylic on flat panel, 18”x24”, $1000 plus s&h. I welcome your questions (yes, I offer payment plans - details below). Just  reach out . There is the hardest working little rose bush in my garden. She is scrawny but boy is she extra. The little faces of her blooms cluster together in profusion, all kissed with sunshine and whispering together with delight. They always make me smile. Spending time in the garden is such a mood enhancer.  I sure could use some dirt under my nails and a barefoot walk through the grass about now. But I heard the groundhog saw his shadow, so I’ll have to wait a bit. You can get a good look at Weeping Roses over  on my website . You’ll find links there to zoom in close to her surface or view in a room setting. Purchasing can’t get any easier - add her to your cart and boom, she’s all yours! Let me know  if you would like a payment plan (30% non refundable deposit with t...

I am swimming in work from the summer months  and the paint is continuing to fly. It's a fruitful and exciting time to be in the studio, as long as I keep a path clear on the floor for the dogs to safely come and go. LOL.  As the artist I always have the distinct joy of seeing my work as a collection. Groupings of my paintings, intentional or otherwise, have conversations and elevate each other. This happen...

NEW PAINTING Emory Paul

Emory Paul, 18"x24", acrylic on flat panel, $1000 plus s&h to the first asking nicely. Link to purchase is below. Three years ago I began growing dahlias. I had always loved their exhuberence but was rather intimidated by the care involved. A good friend gifted me a handful of her dinner plate varieties and I learned that there really isn't that much extra care - just digging the tubors up in the fall, then replacing them early spring.  Now I have 8 plants of which 3 are currently blooming with wild abandon. Every day I visit the dahlias, give them a little pep talk, and soak up their color. These flowers are so extra, in every possible way. This painting is a summary of sorts as to the dahlia's journey from a little potato (as my mother in law calls them) to the nearly 5 foot tall plant capped with frilly eggplant colored blooms. When I sit on the ground, her faces fill the sky. The varied greens of her and her rose bush neighbors dance companionably like shado...

I've been painting little florals inspired by this weekend's wedding garden party centerpieces  I rearrange the blooms and voila! a new design pops up! I think Glimpse would be gorgeous worked up large scale and then pushed a bit more abstract. I just might have to do that. But meanwhile, she's a little gem with juicy wet-on-wet brush marks full of personality. These florals will not be listed on my website - the only way to grab one is to   message me , and I'll manually send an invoice through paypal. I'll need your email and mailing address, please and thank you. Thanks so much for your interest in my artwork, All my best, warmly, Kim

Special post wedding pricing (because I am still giddy!) of $250 plus s&h, but you must   message me your email and mailing address   to be invoiced. Questions can always come  to me. There was a wedding reception in our backyard Saturday and it was glorious!  Family and friends gathered to celebrate my oldest and his bride. We laughed, ate incredible food, and danced under the stars. It could not have been more perfect. This morning I brought a vase of flowers down into the studio and decided to linger with some of my favorite moments at the easel. I rarely work this small and rarely offer paintings at this price point. I'll do a couple of them this week, just to share the love. This is your chance to capitalize on my overflowing joy and gratitude from the weekend. These are not listed on my website - the only wa...
