Anyone who knows bull terriers, knows they are a bit like a steam engine, and this guy is no exception. I focused on his face, intentionally pulling it a bit off-center, and blurring out the edges of his body, to give the illusion of a frozen moment of high energy. The color and brushwork is concentrated entirely in that strip that makes up his profile – variations and hints of the same colors make up the background, but don’t compete for your attention.
