The cover of "A Dog Named Blue," now available from Blurb publishers. When I first painted Amelia I never imagined that she would be re-christened "Blue" and inspire a book. In her defense, Amelia had a number of other partners in crime - animals who's portraits seemed to fall into a specific color category and prompt color-centric names. DeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteShowing emotions of dogs are really a tough task to do but I must admit you have done it absolutely superbly. The thing which a dog does the maximum in his life is to wait for his master, any I feel that’s what was in your mind when you were painting this, the sadness in Angel’s eyes to catch a glimpse her master can be clearly seen. I am in love with this art. It reminds me of my dog. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much, Art Gallery St Ives - I'm delighted that you have connected with this painting!!
