Tiny Dancer (from The Sirens series), 24" x 48", acrylics on panel, $1499 plus s&h. All inquiries are welcome to come
to me.
The Princess (who really needs a nickname better suited for a young lady set to conquer the world) started her final season of competitive dance this past Saturday. I remember her like this, like it was only yesterday - a tiny dancer so enamored with her tutu and the stage lighting, that she never even saw the audience.
This painting, along with many others inspired by my girl and her passion for dance, will be part of a solo show opening this coming Friday, March 8th, at
Stone's Throw Theater. Please join us for a champagne reception, 5-8pm, and see my favorite Siren paintings in person. This is a family friendly, free to the public event.
It's not often that artists get to hang an entire body of work. Typically we send one or two pieces out to a particular exhibition, and share the limelight with a group of other creatives. I am very lucky and grateful to Stone's Throw Theater for offering me this opportunity..
The show will be open Thursdays through Saturdays, 12-6pm, from March 7th - 16th. The theater is on 423 W Nepessing St, Lapeer, Michigan.
Thanks, as always, for following along with my art journey,
Warmly, Kim
