Sunspots 24"x30"x1-1/2, acrylic on handmade cradled panel (no need to frame), $2000 plus s&h to the first asking nicely. Link to purchase is below. I always called dappled sunlight "sun spots." I recently learned that sun spots, scientifically speaking, are actually temporary darker looking spots on the sun, regions of reduced surface temperature caused by a magnetic field 2500 times stronger than earth's. How cool is that? and what a great underlying idea for a painting. A future painting that is. Today, though, is all about this painting, dappled with sunlight and full of life. You can feel the rootedness of the pony's feet while the landscape gently whispers inside her. The light dances like little motes - perhaps they are floating off to start their own little universes. You can see Sunspots in greater detail here , view her up close and in a room setting, and find a link to purchase. Let me know if you would like a payment plan...
