I am typing this newsletter from across my easel where I have an audience of a crabapple fox, a dahlia fox, a rose filled horse, and a horse exploding with dahlias. I have another large double equine piece I thought would be filled with climbing roses, but it seems she has other plans - nevertheless, she glows with a springlike green and shimmery pink.
Meanwhile, the snow and ice outside are melting. It will be a bit before the above color is mirrored in the Michigan landscape, but I’m not letting that hold me back in the studio.
