"Balance," 6" square, Golden Open Acrylics on Ampersand Gessobord, a portrait loosely based on my blue heeler cattle dog mix, Finnigan. This is also my entry for theDaily Paintworks' Challenge of last week (the challenge also titled "Balance"), and will be headed to the Canine Art Guild's July online exhibition, "Ying Yang." This original painting can be yours for $299. Balance seems to be the theme du jour. Today's the first day of my kids' summer vacation. Want a little "Balance" in your life? email me and we'll work something out! Thanks for looking at - and sharing - my artwork with your friends and family, Kim |

Illustrator and author Matt Faulkner and children's book author and literacy expert Kristen Remenar edited an early version of the draft. They suggested key plot/conceptual changes that made it oodles better. Designer Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson worked her magic, pairing the images with perfectly color...
Very cool painting, this is a trick I have never managed to teach my dog! Also I wanted to say what a clever idea, an exhibition closing party. Somehow I always miss the openings. Of course living in Texas I shan't be able to come but have a blast.
ReplyDeleteMargo, wish you could make it! :) I'll have a bite of something sweet in your honor.....
