Greetings, Long Lost Newsletter Fans!
Writing newsletters seems to get pushed to the bottom of my to-do list, probably because I blog daily. And am really good at procrastination.
Getting a daily note out to subscribers and on the blog takes discipline and, often, a good chunk of my day. And I feel like I'm already communicating with you regularly enough because I'm sending something out nearly every day already.
But yet I forget that many choose to receive a condensed newsletter format, and then when I neglect to put a newsletter together, I am neglecting those who have opted to stay in touch, just less frequently!!
I don't want to neglect you any longer!! My apologies for not being better at staying in touch - this is me, making a renewed effort! (Well, actually, I'm not a true blonde and I prefer football to baseball, but I think you get the picture....)
Quick review of my spring-summer:
Now fast-forward to the fall:
Throughout all of this, I've continued my pledge to daily painting, although my compositions have grown in complexity and size and are more frequently taking multiple days to complete. I've also expanded my focus from dogs and am regularly painting young dancers and vintage toys.
I still teach grownUPs Journaling on the 3rd Thursdays of each month - email me if you are interested in joining our group - we have a lively collection of creatives and the class is always a favorite evening.
And finally, I am now accepting holiday commissions. This year I am taking on fewer projects so as to focus on building a body of work for a number of shows in 2014. If you are interested in commissioning a portrait for holiday gift-giving, I encourage you to start that process now - shoot me an email and let's get your project on my calendar!
Wishing you a season full of cider and crisp leaves and pumpkin pies.
Thanks so much for taking the time to follow my artwork and musings!
Fondly, Kim |

Paint With Me
I am currently scheduling workshop opportunities for the 2014 and 2015 calendar years. My complete schedule is always available on the Workshops tab of my website.
Artists wanting to attend one of my workshops should have competent drawing skills and a basic understanding of color mixing. Classes are fun, but challenging and fast paced - come prepared to laugh and learn.
Groups or individuals wishing to host a workshop, please email me to get details on requirements and avilability.
